A Diploma in Cooperative Management Students from Karnataka Institute of Cooperative Management, Vinoba Nagara Shimoga, visited to know about the life of rural people work style at Shramajeevi Ashrama, nearly 25 students and institute trainers been a part on a one day Study Tour on 13.09.2023.
Charaka Mahila Vividdodesha Kaigarika Sahakara Sangha Ni., cooperated the students by giving a brief survey of the artisan’s work style and explained students the intentions behind the origin of the organization in rural zone.
Students came to know that the main intention of the organization since came into existence is to support rural women a dream of setting up an environment-friendly industry to provide employment to the villagers and there are more than 300 women who oversee each and every step of the management.
Student visited all the section of handloom production how the garment process takes place and how the rural workers indulge with the organization.
Students gained knowledge in the procurement of yarn, dyeing, reeling, weaving, printing, embroidery, tailoring, inventory and quality control, marketing etc.,
